GUYS AND DOLLS

Posted by HG on June 28, 2007

Ahh the Cabbage Patch Kids.. I remember my sister whined for one and when she got it, she lost the damn thing. When I look back, it’s possible that she sold it since people were goin’ apeshit over those dolls.

No matter how popular CPK got, I don’t remember any point when it was cool for little boys to want them.. And then take them to a baseball game. The fathers in those commercials have to be so ashamed of their sons. Dad wants to get out to the yard, teach his son how to score a game, and if they’re lucky, they’ll catch a foul ball. Son wants to stay home and he’ll only leave the house if he can bring Barbi and her corvette.

They’ve got 99 problems and knowing how to rap is about 98 of ’em.
