Part of being a big time athlete are the endorsements you get. There’s the shoes, sodas, and video games. Everybody can’t be “on the cover” so that leads to athletes teaming up businesses in the local community.
Brian Dawkins seems excited about his opportunity:
I’m an Eagles fan but that’s hard to watch. Here’s Bernie Kosar slangin add-on heat pumps.
I guarantee Charlie Frye is trying to order an add-on heat pump as I type this. Bernie’s a pretty bad actor, but he nailed the “it’s pure comfort”/toss ball to self part of the commercial.

The Philadelphia Eagles have long been my favorite team. I think they’re too shrewd when it comes to signing free agents. The one time they stepped up it was for Terrell Owens. That’s like a guy waiting 55 years before finally deciding to get married and then his bride is Houston.
The Eagles are always under the cap.. I guess you can do that when you’re paying people double signing bonuses. From Sportable.com:
“Here’s a hilarious fudging of payroll by the Philadelphia Eagles accounting team. Apparently the Eagles paid running back Brian Westbrook his $3 million dollar signing bonus twice, and nobody in accounting noticed.”
The Eagles have filed a grievance to recover the money.
